OPPO releases the Reno11 F 5G in the Netherlands. That device was previously released in China. The device has the same specifications as the Reno10 in many areas, but the Reno11 costs more than sixty euros less than the previous model at 449 euros.
OPPO says it sells the Reno11 F 5G in its own store. There the device costs 449 euros including VAT. The previous model, the Reno10, was a lot more expensive when introduced, although its Pro model is available for a comparable price.
The Reno11 is the same as its predecessor in many ways. The device has a 120Hz AMOLED screen of 6.7 inches with a resolution of 2412×1080. The new model also runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 soc. The Reno11 has 8GB of memory, but that can be expanded with another 8GB of virtual RAM. The battery is also the same size at 5000mAh and has support for SuperVOOC for fast charging at 67W.
The main improvement is in the camera. The Reno11 has a 64-megapixel main camera, which does not have optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro lens with a 2-megapixel camera. The front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor.
The device is available for immediate purchase. It runs on Android 14 with OPPO's own ColorOS skin. OPPO does not say how many Android upgrades and security updates the device will receive. That was one of the negatives of the Reno10. It only received two OS upgrades and three years of security updates, much less than comparable phones in that price range.
