The Belgian provider Telenet will increase prices by 3.5 percent in June to compensate for inflation. The price increase applies to many subscriptions, but not to all.

Telenet says it will inform customers individually in the coming weeks. It is also known which subscriptions will and will not increase in price. The price increase will not apply to Play Sports, subscriptions from BASE and Tadaam, Telenet Essential Internet FIVE and TEN, fixed telephony, out-of-bundle rates, installation and activation costs, and Social Internet. The price increase applies to all-in-one subscriptions such as ONE and ONEup, two-in-one subscriptions and various separate services.

The price increase is necessary due to inflation, the provider says. “We take the current economic situation into account. We adjust our prices as a result of inflation, which has an impact on, among other things, wage costs and prices of technological equipment,” says Telenet. The price increase due to inflation occurs every year.
