Foreign. Photos and videos of Gazans relaxing on the beach after six months of intense bombardment are angering Israeli politicians, reports the Times of Israel.

The images come from Deir al-Balah, an area where IDF ground forces have not operated during the war.
The area is about a mile south of an east-west corridor that is the only part of Gaza still is actively occupied by Israeli troops.
Online, some have used the images to question the claims of starvation and genocide in Gaza.

Others use them to criticize the government.
Knesset member Ze'ev Elkin of New Hope parties, who recently left the coalition , writes on X:
“If this is how you fight a war, it's no wonder that Hamas feels no pressure and is reluctant to agree to a hostage deal and that Iran is attacking Israel with hundreds of robots” , he writes.
Temperatures in the area rose as high as 36 degrees on Wednesday, when the photos were taken, according to the Times of Israel.
