Media. The newspaper Expressen is questioned by its own readers after publishing nude pictures of several women in an article about “women's bodies” today. The article is criticized for a lack of diversity because all the women involved are part of the 40+ category who don't care about their appearance.

The article is illustrated with photographs of naked women in their 50s who practice an unhealthy lifestyle.
In addition to publishing pictures, the left-wing newspaper has also interviewed the anonymous women about their attitudes to health and appearance.
– I think I have too a lot of fluff on the stomach, but I don't care. I like to eat sweets, says one of them, an overweight 48-year-old “controller”, in the magazine.
Another woman, also in her 50s and overweight, explains her purpose of being included in the report:
– People need to get a more diversified image of naked bodies, see moles and pubic hair.
However, it was not particularly diversified because all the women in the report looked like that the way.
On online forums such as X and Flashback, Expressen's readers seem to be less satisfied with the newspaper's attempt to gain attention.
“Disgusting”, “disgusting” and “disgusting” are some of the reviews . Several also question why only unhealthy women were allowed to be included in the report.
The article is written by the photographer and freelance journalist Threresia Köhlin. She has previously written the Expressen articles “Five men on penis complex” and “Three Swedish women: Therefore we love our bikini bodies” – illustrated with pictures of fat women in bikinis.
