Brexit profiler Nigel Farage gave a speech as a large number of police officers occupied the conference in Brussels with the aim of shutting it down.

Among the other invited participants are Britain's former Home Secretary Suella Braverman and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

It was Braverman who got to step on stage after Farage and inform about the arrival of the police.

The police stated that the decision to shut down the event was because it threatened “public order”, writes Politico.

Nigel Farage is hated by the bureaucrats in Brussels having heckled them during his time in the European Parliament.

On his way away from the conference, he spoke about how he had been treated in the city in the past and called the decision to intervene against the conference “monstrous”.

The organizers of the conference have invited the responsible Muslim mayor Emir Kir to discuss the matter.
