Online store shows euro prices of Kobo e-readers with color screen

The Belgian online store Fnac.be briefly showed pre-order pages for the Kobo Clara Color and Kobo Libra Color on Thursday, which will cost 159.99 euros and 229.89 euros respectively. They will be the first Kobo e-readers with a color screen.

Some information about the e-readers had already appeared online earlier this year, including the names, but no information about the euro prices yet. Before the pages were taken offline by Fnac.be, screenshots were taken and distributed via the unofficial Kobo subreddit. Images of the e-readers have also appeared on the forum topic about Kobo e-readers on Tweakers.

The American web store Indigo also temporarily showed pages for the Kobo Clara Color and Kobo Libra Color with some specifications and prices in the US. The e-readers work with the Kobo Stylus 2. The Libra has an IPX8 certification and 32GB of storage space. In the US, the e-readers would be available from April 30. It is not yet clear whether the devices will also be available in the Benelux from the same date. Kobo has not yet officially announced the Clara Color and Libra Color.
