Razer has announced a new version of its Blade 18 laptop. The laptop has a screen with 3840×2400 pixels instead of the 2560×1600 pixels of the previous generation. According to the manufacturer, it is also the first laptop with Thunderbolt 5.

The new Blade 18 can refresh the 18″ screen at 200Hz, Razer says. This would make it the first laptop that combines a 4K resolution with such a high refresh rate. Thunderbolt 5 enables transfer speeds of up to 120Gbit/s, the manufacturer claims.
Razer supplies the new Blade 18 with an Intel Core i9 14900HX with a mobile version of the Nvidia RTX 4090 video card. These options were also possible with the previous generation of the laptop. In terms of memory, up to 64GB ddr5, and storage, namely an SSD up to 2TB, nothing has changed. The new version of the Blade 18 is immediately available for 3700 euros.
