Kremlin: NATO is “directly involved” in the war in Ukraine

Foreign. Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov now says that NATO is in “direct confrontation” with Russia, something that the Polish foreign minister has also previously confirmed.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov is not surprised by the claim and confirms that NATO troops are in “direct confrontation” with Russia.

p>- In fact, these relations have now slipped to the level of direct confrontation … NATO continues to move towards our borders and to expand its military infrastructure towards our borders, Peskov told Ria Novosti.

However, it is a bit unclear exactly what Peskov means. Among other things, France has proposed that NATO soldiers be deployed directly in Ukraine – including French soldiers. It remains unclear whether France has actually done so.

After Peskov spoke out, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev followed suit with more radical statements, suggesting that NATO soldiers in Ukraine should always be killed.< /p>

“We should take no prisoners. High rewards should be given for every dead NATO soldier,” he writes on Telegram.
