Camera manufacturer Nikon has committed that Red's current product lineup, services and ongoing partnerships will remain unchanged following the acquisition. Red customers can continue to contact the manufacturer for repairs, warranty and customer service. Nikon has issued a short statement to photography news site Newsshooter in which it promises that 'nothing will change in Red's offering' after the takeover. Red released a similar message last week, which has now been confirmed by Nikon.
Red agreed to a takeover bid from Nikon earlier this month. It is not known how much Nikon has offered.
