CD Projekt RED has earned 698 million euros from Cyberpunk 2077 so far

Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion have so far earned Polish developer CD Projekt RED 3 billion zlotys, which equates to 698 million euros. This is evident from the recently published annual figures of CD Projekt Red.

The proceeds concern the versions of the game on the previous console generation: the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Sales of the Phantom Liberty DLC released last year on these platforms are also included. In 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 earned CD Projekt RED 826 million zlotys. Only in the release year 2020 did the game generate more revenue. By the end of November 2023, Phantom Liberty had sold 4.3 million units. In addition to the DLC, Cyberpunk 2077 received a free 2.0 patch last year, which added a new skill tree and more items.

The developer speaks of a financially good year. Consolidated sales revenues amounted to 1.2 billion zloty, or more than 279 million euros, with a net profit of 481 million zloty, or almost 112 million euros. That is 29 and 39 percent more than in 2022 respectively.
