Charge: Shot with k-pist at police officers

Domestic. Two men, aged 19 and 24, are charged with, among other things, the attempted murder of four police officers after firing a submachine gun at a police car.

On August 12 last year, the police were to check a car in Östersund.

The car then drove away from the scene at high speed. During the pursuit, shots were fired from the car that the police believed were aimed at them. However, the police cars were not hit by any bullets.

After a short pursuit, the drive ended with a ditch and the perpetrators ran into the forest.

The 19-year-old, who was 18 at the time of the incident , was arrested an hour or so after the incident and the 24-year-old could be undramatically arrested the following day.

The younger of them is called Mustafa but cannot be deported under current legislation because he has obtained Swedish citizenship. The 24-year-old is Swedish.
