Media. Sveriges Radio will get rid of 183 permanent positions as part of the state company's savings and restructuring program.

SR will carry out a cost reduction of approximately SEK 225 million. The reason is the high inflation in combination with sharply increasing costs for salaries, rents and distribution, among other things.
As a result of this, 183 permanent positions will disappear.
“This applies to both managerial positions. and services in support activities such as communication and HR, but the majority of our activities are journalistic and the largest part who are now leaving work in our publishing activities,” writes HR director Carolina Wikström.
