Foreign. Democrats in the USA may be about to change their foreign policy stance towards Israel, after many years of unison American support. That's what analysts think after Joe Biden sent the top Jewish Democrat Chuck Schumer to deliver very harsh criticism of the government in Tel Aviv.

The Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer delivered very harsh criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a speech earlier this week, and now his president agrees with the speech.
– It was a good speech, and I think he expressed a concern that was not only he but many Americans know, Biden said on Friday.
Schumer, along with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, is the Jewish-American politician with the most formal power in the United States, and in his speech he said that Netanyahu is a of four major obstacles to peace.
– He has derailed by prioritizing his political survival over the best interests of Israel, Schumer said in the speech and continued:
– He has been too willing to go along with civilian casualties in Gaza, driving support for Israel worldwide to historic lows.
– Israel cannot survive as a pariah state.
After Biden's approving remarks, observers drew in several media the conclusion that the White House is now on the way to readjust US foreign policy in relation to Israel, which has so far garnered unanimous American support.
White House spokesman John Kirby, however, denies that there are any such plans. He also claims that the US does not demand new elections in Israel.
– It is up to the Israeli people to decide, he says.
It is clear, however, that the US has already changed its tone towards its long-term allies in the Middle East, writes The Guardian. The criticism that Biden agreed to is considered the strongest that an American president has given the country since the Suez crisis in 1956.
