Proton releases beta of mail program for Linux

Proton has published a beta of its mail program for Linux for the first time. The apps for Windows and macOS have been in beta for some time and have now been officially released, the company reports.

On the site you can find installation files for Ubuntu/Debian and for Fedora/RHEL. The beta already has the functionality for a free trial. The mail programs can then only be used by paying Proton customers. Mail+ or Unlimited is required to use the desktop apps. The betas for macOS and Windows were released three months ago.
