Dutch ACM takes webshop TI-84shop offline

The Dutch Consumer and Markets Authority has taken a webshop offline for the first time with judicial authorization. This concerns TI-84shop, which was active with various sites. The sites no longer work.

The ACM advises victims to contact the webshop with the information they already have. If they do not have that information, they can request it from ACM. It is no longer possible to place orders because the sites no longer function.

The online store is offline after repeated complaints from customers about the non-shipment of purchased products and the non-refund of the purchase price. Many tweakers already warned fellow tweakers about the shop in the Pricewatch shop reviews. TI-84shop sold, among other things, game consoles and other electronics. ACM had already issued a warning to the webshop last year.
