The police took Greta away from the Riksdag

Domestic. Greta Thunberg and several other climate activists were taken away from the Riksdag by police at 09:00, reports Dagens Nyheter.

Greta and her followers have both today and yesterday blocked the main entrances to the Riksdag.

– I think our laws should exist to protect people's well-being, and not companies' rights to pollute the planet, says Greta Thunberg according to SVT Nyheter.

According to the police, the incident will be reported as a violation of the Public Order Act. Greta and the others did not have permission for the demonstration.

Greta Thunberg was sentenced twice last year for disobedience to the authorities. She has defended herself by saying that she is acting for the “climate” and that she should therefore escape punishment.
