Code points out that Pixel Watch 3 with yourb can keep Pixel phone unlocked

Code in the Play Services app for Android indicates that a Google Pixel Watch will appear with ultrawideband. This allows you to keep a Pixel phone unlocked.

The code can be found in the Watch Unlock section of Play Services, reports 9to5Google. It also contains code that disables the function in countries where ultrawideband is not allowed, such as Indonesia. Watch Unlock keeps a phone unlocked as long as it is connected to a smartwatch. This normally works via Bluetooth, but it would work better via ultrawideband. Bluetooth has a longer range, which may leave the phone unlocked even though the user doesn't want it to be. Because the Pixel Watch 2 does not have that functionality, it is probably the next generation of the Google watch.
