The Netherlands promises 4 million euros for projects for better digital services

The Dutch government is making an innovation budget of 4 million euros available to improve digital services. Employees of government services can apply for project financing until March 31.

Applications are assessed by a jury and must meet various criteria. For example, projects up to 200,000 euros must be at least a quarter self-financed, while larger projects must be forty percent funded with personal contributions. The jury also looks at the relationship between costs and results and the innovativeness of the project. With the Digital Government Innovation Budget, the Dutch government wants to stimulate innovation in digital services. In principle, projects must improve the government's digital services. Both existing and new projects can be eligible for financing. The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations has been offering the relevant innovation budget for several years.
