WhatsApp lets Android users find messages by date

From now on, it should be easier to find older messages in WhatsApp on Android. The messaging app lets Android users find messages by date. This was already possible with the versions for iOS, MacOS and the browser version.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's WhatsApp channel shows how the function works. It can be used in individual conversations and group chats, and can be found in the search function in the conversation. On the right side of the search bar is a calendar icon, which when clicked opens a calendar and lets the user choose a date. It is only possible to search on a specific date, not within a specific period.
