Foreign. For the first time, an opinion poll shows that the anti-immigration leader Marine Le Pen would win a presidential election in France.

According to the IFOP opinion poll, Marine Le Pen – if there were a presidential election today – would win in the second round against the current Prime Minister Gabriel Attal with 51 percent to 49 percent.
It is the first time a poll shows that she would win the post of President of France.

However, the next presidential election in France will not be held until 2027.
