The decision means that Iraqi Salwan Momika's residence permit is revoked and that he is prohibited from returning for five years.

The migration court agrees with the Migration Agency's assessment that he provided unreliable information about his reasons for protection.

At the same time, the court states that there are obstacles to enforcement of the deportation. Because of this, Momika has previously been granted a limited residence permit until April this year.

Salwan Momika's Koran burnings have received a lot of attention internationally, not least in the Muslim world, and are also considered to have influenced the Swedish NATO the process.

The Koran burner has previously announced that he intends to refuse to leave the country.

– I am not leaving Sweden. I will live and die in Sweden. The Swedish Migration Agency has made a serious mistake. I suspect there are hidden political motives behind this decision. I will appeal, he told SVT after the Migration Agency's decision.
