The newspaper refers to a survey by Yougov which shows that 20 percent of Americans aged 18-29 believe the Holocaust is a myth.
In the same age group, almost one in four people believe that “The Holocaust has been exaggerated”.
In the age group 65 and older, so called Baby Boomers, on the other hand, 0 percent believe that the Holocaust is a myth.
According to the Economist, the change may be due to the reduced influence of TV on young people, who instead get their news on the internet.
