This represents a 9 percentage point drop from the March 2022 figures and marks the third consecutive poll in which her confidence numbers have fallen.
According to Nicklas Källebring, opinion analyst at Ipsos, the downward trend can be partly explained by Andersson's transition to the role of opposition politician, which now seems to have negative consequences.
Despite the loss of confidence, Magdalena Andersson still retains her top position in the confidence league . For other party leaders, the changes are marginal.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) maintains his second place with 32 percent in trust, while Jimmie Åkesson (SD) ends up in third place with 28 percent.
