Peter Hjort, on duty commander at the rescue service, tells TT that they used a tracked wagon from Höganäs to lift the horse from the sinkhole.
To facilitate the rescue work, a veterinarian was also called in, and the horse was sedated in order to be able to safely get it out of the sinkhole the cramped space.
At 10 p.m., they successfully rescued the horse, and it is now recovering. However, the horse must first wake up from the anesthesia.
