Illegal immigration to the United States is currently breaking all previous records and anger against Joe Biden's government is boiling in states bordering Mexico.

In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott has now released a statement stating that the Biden administration has not fulfilled its commitments and is actually promoting “lawlessness” at the border.

He states that Texas has the right to ignore the federal government and deploy soldiers at their own discretion to exercise their “right to self-defense”.

Among other things, Abbott refers to Article Four of the US Constitution, which states that the federal government has a duty to protect the states against invasion.

The governor writes that he has declared that Texas is vulnerable to invasion and that according to the “supreme law of the land” the state has the right to defend itself on its own initiative. For this purpose, personnel from the Texas National Guard and other authorities will be used.

The spectacular display comes in connection with a movement that has recently grown in Texas with demands that the state should leave the United States and declare itself an independent nation.
