The 24-year-old gang criminal is called Eli Saliba and is currently serving a prison sentence of 7 years and 6 months for, among other things, serious weapons offenses and serious drug smuggling.

< p>He has previously been convicted of crimes such as assault, aggravated drunk driving, causing bodily harm and illegal driving.

According to Riks, the serious criminal man is registered on a property that Social Services Minister Camilla Waltersson Grönvall (M) privately owns and which is next to the minister's own private residence in Lilla Edet in Västergötland.

Eli Saliba was already in August 2018 registered in a property owned by Grönvall's property company. But in February 2022, he moved to a house that the minister privately owns.

According to Riks, both properties are directly adjacent to the minister's private residence.

“Has stored narcotics on the property “
– He is a gang criminal, has connections to various criminal gangs both in Gothenburg and in Kronogården in Trollhättan, which is a particularly vulnerable area. He handles large quantities of narcotics and has stored narcotics on the property and in cars on the property, says a central authority source with very good access to Riks.

The source continues:

– They live next door to Camilla Waltersson Grönvall, who also owns the house. Nevertheless, Grönvall thinks that you should rent to this family. I don't really think that you can do it as a member of parliament and a minister.

According to the authority source, several of the members of Eli Saliba's family are a source of concern for the local population and make a living by selling drugs.

Terrorizes the surrounding area – defended by the minister
– People have contacted Camilla about the families. There are drugs, there are threats. He has sisters and one of them has been with someone and when it ended the brothers came and threatened. Violence has been used. No one dares to oppose them because they have a capital of violence. It is not one who comes but many who come, you have the gangs as support.

According to Riks, there have been several police interventions at the property. Camilla Waltersson Grönvall has on several occasions defended the family, according to the source.

Eli Saliba has an immigrant background from Iraq and Syria. Several of his siblings are also convicted of crimes and booked on the property.

Called to talk about gang crime
Camilla Waltersson Grönvall last November called the Riksdag parties to talk about the escalating gang crime in Sweden. According to the minister, the aim was to review measures to prevent children and young people from coming into contact with criminal networks.

The moderates and Camilla Waltersson Grönvall have not yet answered any questions about the matter, says Riks.

Nor does Säpo want to comment on the Minister of Social Services' gang criminal tenant.
