At the beginning of September, MINI presented the new Countryman, revealing, however, only the electric models. Already we knew, however, that the endothermic versions would arrive and have now debuted in the manufacturer's price lists. Indeed, they were made available before the electric variants. Let's discover the details of the engines and prices for the Italian market.
ENGINES
New MINI Countryman with internal combustion engines will be proposed in the Countryman C and Countryman John Cooper Works ALL4 versions. More in detail, the first has a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged Mild Hybrid engine with 125 kW (170 HP) and 240 Nm of torque. Speed maximum speed of 212 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds.
The largest model high-performance, however, it has a 2-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder capable of producing 221 kW (300 HP) and 400 Nm of torque. To go from 0 to 100 km/h it takes 5.4 seconds, while the speed at peak it reaches 250 km/h. This model can also count on all-wheel drive. In all cases the exchange rate is a 7-speed automatic.
For the rest, the aesthetic differences with the electric versions are very minimal. Only the John Cooper Works variants can count on a dedicated body kit which makes the look of the car more gritty.
