BMW X2, more details on prices and equipment of the new SUV

BMW debuted the new generation of BMW also offered, for the first time, in the BMW iX2 electric version. Now, the automaker has provided more details regarding the fittings and prices of its new Coupé SUV. We remind you that the new model will arrive in dealerships. starting from March 2024.

SETTINGS AND PRICES < p>BMW X2 will be available in sDrive 18d, sDrive 20i and M35iversions. The BMW iX2 electric model, for the moment, will be offered only in the xDrive 30 version. All versions, with the exception of the M35i, will be offered in the Base and MSport trim levels. By entering more in detail, the Base setup offers as standard, among other things, the light and rain sensors, the front Bi-LED light clusters, the rear LED light clusters, the glossy black rear spoiler, the 18″ wheels inches, dual-zone climate control, fabric interior trim, electric tailgate, My Mode Selection, Parking Assistant, BMW Curved Display with 10.25-inch instrumentation and 10.7-inch infotainment, BMW Connected services Drive and the audio system with six speakers.

Going up a level, the MSport trim has a specific body kit with bumpers and wheels with a dedicated design. Inside the passenger compartment we find sports seats and the MSport steering wheel. Obviously there is also no shortage of packages that allow you to customize the new BMW X2/iX2 such as the Premium Package, the Innovation Package, the MSport Pro Package and the Comfort Package. Prices, in Italy, start from 44,800 euros for the X2 sDrive18d. The electric one, however, starts from 60,000 euros.

ENGINES

We remind you that the new SUV Coupé is offered with petrol and diesel engines. The BMW Speed maximum of 210 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. BMW X2 sDrive20i, on the other hand, can rely on a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology producing 115 kW/156 hp and 240 Nm of torque. Speed maximum speed of 213 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds.

At the top of the range there is the BMW Speed maximum of 250 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. Traction is whole wheat. All engines are combined as standard with a seven-speed Steptronic gearbox.

The electric model, finally, has two engines for a total of 230 kW/313 HP and 494 Nm. The speed maximum is of 180 km/h, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.6 seconds. Everything is powered by a battery with a capacity of of 64.8 kWh which allows an autonomy of 417 – 449 km according to the WLTP cycle.
