Moto Morini didn't wait for EICMA 2023 to present Calibro, a motorcycle with which the company returns to the custom segment.
Calibro is a style statement on two wheels and is the ideal companion for everyday travel and commuting for all motorcyclists looking for a motorbike that is easy to ride and manage but with a decidedly modern and aggressive custom style. For more serious riders courageous people who also intend to tackle city routes by going outside the box.
For the moment, only the first information has been shared about this new model. Further details will be revealed at EICMA 2023 where the bike will its public debut.
TWIN-CYLINDER ENGINE
The beating heart of this new model is a 649 cc parallel twin with 60 HPalso present on other models in the range. However, the manufacturer says that the bike will be also offered in a version with power limited to 35 kW for A2 license holders. Nuova Moto Morini Calibro has a double cradle steel frame, a fork with 41 mm legs and 140 mm of travel, a double rear shock absorber with 110 mm of travel and 18-inch aluminum rims at the front and 16 inches at the rear.
The braking system can count on a 320 mm front disc with two-piston floating caliper and a 255 mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear.
The saddle, removable in its rear portion, is positioned 720 mm from the ground and is enriched by contrasting stitching. As an accessory, the company provides a rear shell that continues the line of the mudguard. The pilot will be able to count on analogue instrumentation integrated with a digital display that contains the data essential for driving. The handlebar levers and electric blocks have been designed and manufactured to ergonomic specifications dedicated to the Calibro.
Moto Morini will offer customers also receive a series of accessories so they can customize the Calibro according to their own tastes and needs.
