Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, the electric speedboat inspired by the Macan EV

The nautical sector has seen the introduction of the new and exclusive Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air. This 100% electric boat, tested for the first time in Italy, contains within it Porsche craftsmanship with Frauscher tradition.

The 850 Fantom Air is a perfect fusion between power and design. Equipped with the same propulsion technology as the new Porsche Macan EV, it promises extraordinary performance. According to Detlev von Platen– member of the Board of Directors for sales and marketing of the German manufacturer – during its presentation on Lake Garda, the first eFantom is not only a product of excellence, but the result of a brilliant collaboration between two brands with a great heritage and innovative spirit.

USES ELEMENTS FROM THE PPE PLATFORM

Inside, the eFantom integrates elements of the PPE platform (Premium Platform Electric), which we will also find at the base of the new Macan. The synchronous electric motor (limited to 544 HP – 400 kW) works in synergy with the power electronics, ensuring thrust and stability. even on the waves.

From the outside, the eye is caught by the Porsche logo placed on a waterproof box. Under the lounge area, there is a 100 kWh lithium ion battery, borrowed directly from the new Macan.

DOES IT OFFER VARIOUS MODES? DRIVING

The modes driving characteristics proposed by the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, similar to those of the German brand's road vehicles, offer versatility and precision. From Docking Mode, ideal for ports, at speed optimal cruising speed of 41 km/h.
