HOW DOES IT WORK?
What's new? of this policy lies in the modalities activation and payment of the premium, characterized by maximum simplicity. After activating coverage directly on the Telepass app for free, the customer will pay 0.50 euros only when he himself (or a family member) uses one of the Mobility Services paid with Telepass for which it is coverage is provided.
Therefore, coverage is activated every time the insured uses one of the Mobility Services. and ceases automatically whenever the service itself ends. The premium is debited to the account associated with the Telepass contract up to a maximum spending amount of 24 euros per year. Upon reaching this ceiling, the customer will continue to be covered for subsequent uses of the Mobility Services, until the policy expires, without paying additional costs. The renewal is automatic, unless cancelled.
What Telepass services are covered by this particular insurance policy? In detail, it covers the insured in the event of death or serious disability. permanent (>30%) following an injury which occurred exclusively during the use of one of the following mobility services; paid with Telepass (Motorway, Taxi, Shared Mobility, Trains, Ships & Ferries, Strait of Messina):
- motorway transits occurred with access via the Telepass door, whose tolls are paid via Telepass;
- taxi journeys booked and purchased via the Telepass App;
- driving scooters, scooters or bicycles booked and/or rented via the Telepass App;
- trips by train purchased via the Telepass App;
- ferry trips purchased with access through the Telepass door using a Telepass device (Strait of Messina) or trips on ships and ferries purchased via the Telepass App
The new insurance can be activated or managed via the App by Telepass customers who hold one of the Family (Basic offer), Plus, Easy or Pay Per Use contracts.
