Petrol and diesel prices falling but the market fears war in the Middle East

After a period of continuous increases in prices, for a few days the prices of petrol and diesel have slowly started to fall again. Unfortunately, there is the risk that this bearish trend may be interrupted. In fact, the dramatic events in the Middle East risk leading to new price increases. A first sign is already arrived from the Brent prices. Compared to the 85 dollars a barrel at Friday's closing, at the time of writing we are at around 87 dollars a barrel, with an even higher peak. The increase in Brent could also lead to interrupting the decline in the prices of refined products.

In short, with the winds of war blowing in the Middle East, fuel prices could soon rise again. It must be said that in addition to an increase in oil prices, gas prices have also risen, with an increase, at the opening of trading, of 7%. Furthermore, as we know well, the market fears instability and uncertainties. The conflict could also lead to the energy-related problem exploding again as happened last year due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

HOW MUCH DOES A FULL?

In the next few days, therefore, we will better understand how this will evolve. the energy market following the conflict and we will find out if fuel costs will rise again.
