Toyota C-HR, orders for the new generation begin. Here are the prices

Toyota has started orders for the new generation of the C-HR in Italy. The hybrid crossover will be available with a range of four powertrains. In dealerships, the Full Hybrid models will arrive during the month of December, while the PHEV ones, however, in the month of March 2024.

At the same time as the opening of orders in Italy, the Japanese car manufacturer has provided more details on the prices of its new model.

We remind you that the new model, for the first time in Europe, will be also offered with a Plug-in hybrid powertrain. The new Toyota C-HR rests on the TNGA platform and measures 4,360 mm long x 1,830 mm wide x 1,558/1,564 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. The trunk has a capacity of of 388 liters which drops to 310 liters in the PHEV version.


The new crossover will be offered in Full Hybrid-Electric (HEV) versions of 1.8 liters (103 kW/140 HP) and 2.0 liters (145 kW/197 HP) and in a Plug-in Hybrid-Electric (PHEV) variant of 2.0 liters (164 kW/223 HP). The Full Hybrid with a 2-litre displacement powertrain can be also have with the intelligent all-wheel drive system (AWD-i).

Thanks to a 13.8 kWh battery, the PHEV model can travel in electric up to 66 km according to the WLTP cycle.

EQUIPMENTS AND PRICES

The crossover will be possible have in the Active, Trend ECO, Trend, Lounge, GR SPORT, Lounge Premiere and GR SPORT Premiere trim levels. The Active setup, available exclusively in combination with the 1.8 HEV engine, is already particularly rich and offers, among other things, the latest generation Toyota Safety Sense driving aid package that can be updated via OTA, LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, 39; infotainment with 8-inch display, rear camera, dual-zone climate control and interiors in eco-sustainable fabric.

The GR SPORT setup is available exclusively with the 2.0 HEV AWD-i and 2.0 PHEV engines, while the Trend ECO version is only for the Plug-in. Toyota underlines that the Lounge Premiere and GR SPORT Premiere trim levels are available exclusively during the launch period of the car and in combination with the 2.0 liter engines – HEV, HEV AWD-i and PHEV.

How much does the new Toyota C-HR cost in Italy? Prices start from 35,700 eurosof the 1.8 HEV Active to reach the 51,900 euros of the 2.0 PHEV GR SPORT Premiere. During the launch period, across the entire range of the new Toyota C-HR, it is a discount of 3,750 euros is available in the event of a trade-in or scrapping and Toyota Easy Next financing. The car manufacturer also adds that the 2.0 PHEV version in Trend ECO trim falls within the parameters of the ecobonus for BEVs.
