Audi is pursuing its ambitious electrification strategy which envisages that from 2026 only new electric cars will be launched on the market. The house of the 4 rings is therefore working on the development of various battery-powered models which will be presented over the next few years. Among these there is also the new Audi A6 Avant e-tron which the car manufacturer already had anticipated as a concept in March 2022.
This is the station wagon version of the future A6 e-tron that we have seen most of. sometimes the protagonist of spy photos. Now, new shots have arrived of an Avant variant forklift carrying out road tests.
PPE PLATFORM
The spy photos still show a camouflaged car, but under the films, the new model from Audi already has of its forms of production. The front will be characterized by due to the presence of split headlights. It is one of the most big differences compared to the 2022 concept. For the moment, there is no precise information on the powertrain but there will certainly be versions with both a single engine and a dual engine. We remember that Audi spoke of a power of 476 HP (350 kW) for the concept which could also count on a battery with a capacity of of 100 kWh for a range of approximately 700 km.
The sedan should debut during 2024, the Avant version a few months later. Therefore, there will be still plenty of time to discover further details on the development of the new A6 e-tron.
