The Audi Q8 is on presale: the new flagship presented in Monaco at the beginning of September is muscular like never before and for the first time it integrates Audi Matrix HD LED headlights with laser spots and rear lights with OLED technology. At the top of the range is the SQ8 TFSI, offered with restyled bumpers, large air intakes and the new light signature.
Q8 debuts on the price list in the S line edition version, while SQ8 is offered in both standard and sport attitude configurations. The laser headlights are included in the Innovative Virtual package which includes the Tour, City and Park Assist Plus driving assistance tools. Added to these are the electrochromic side mirrors, the heated sports steering wheel and the Audi virtual cockpit plus dashboard. On request it is the black look package is also available for a total black configuration.
Included as standard are heated front seats, the Audi smartphone interface with app store, Audi phone box light and the City assistance package (the latter only on SQ8 TFSI sport attitude). The house of the four rings – now represented two-dimensionally on the body of the car – allows you to customize the vehicle by choosing between five decorative inserts and wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches.
Audi Q8 is equipped with “adaptive air suspension sport” air suspension and progressive steering with variable gearing and power assistance. You can also opt for all-wheel steering. The suspension is in S configuration for the Audi SQ8 TFSI. There are two diesel engines, one a petrol one, all with 6 cylinders, V architecture, 3 liter capacity, 48 Volt mild-hybrid technology and quattro permanent traction with self-locking central differential and 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission.

SQ8 has a 507HP 4.0 TFSI V8 with direct injection, plasma coating of the cylinder liners, the cylinder on demand system to shut down 4 cylinders at medium and low loads, variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust sides and two twin scroll turbochargers. The transmission is 8-speed automatic, quattro permanent all-wheel drive can be integrated by the sports rear differential which actively distributes torque between the wheels on the same axle. The Advanced Chassis package also includes active anti-roll stabilization and the sports rear differential.
As standard on the Audi SQ8 TFSI there are 21″ alloy wheels with 285/45 tires (22 and 23″ on request), the braking system is made up of 400mm self-ventilating discs at the front and 350mm at the rear, the calipers have the S logo painted in black (standard) or red (on request).
