The range of limited editions of MV Agusta continues to expand. The company, in fact, has announced the arrival of the Brutale 1000 RR Assen which is was created to celebrate MV Agusta's 35 victories on the Assen circuit. The last triumph came in 1976, in the 350 class, thanks to Giacomo Agostini. Therefore, to celebrate the successes obtained at the legendary Dutch circuit, defined as the temple of speed, the company wanted to create this special version of its Brutale. New MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen will be built in Italy and will be produced in a limited series. In fact, 300 units will be made. This special model is the result of direct collaboration with the Assen circuit and is characterized by a specific color on a blue and silver base.
The technical basis is that of the 2023 version of the Brutale 1000 RR with refinements in the electronic gearbox, more quick and smooth in the grafts. Therefore, we have a 998 cc inline four-cylinder, capable of delivering 208 HP (153 kW) at 13,000 rpm and 116.5 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The power/weight ratio of the new naked is of 1.1 HP/kg, possible thanks to just 186 kg (197 kg in running order).
The standard equipment of this special edition model includes carbon fiber wheels Rotoboxwhich thanks to a specific proprietary construction technique have very thin spokes. Carbon fiber is it was then also used for other parts of the motorcycle including the bulkheads that protect the exhaust manifolds and the stylistic and functional elements accompanying the front light. Some parts of the frame, such as the aluminum side plates and the single-sided swingarm, have a silver color, contrasting with the dark color of the steel tube trellis.
