The Supercharger network has always represented an added value for Tesla to offer to its customers. These fast charging stations have certainly contributed in a very important way to the success of Elon Musk's company. The car manufacturer continues to invest in this network which has now reached a new, very important milestone. In fact, the American company underlined that it has crossed the finish line of 50 thousand Superchargers (understood as columns) installed and active throughout the world.

THE NETWORK CONTINUES TO GROW
In April 2023 alone, the car manufacturer celebrated 45,000 Superchargers worldwide. Therefore, in approximately 5 months, a further 5 thousand columns were installed. Tesla, of course, is not just limiting itself to installing new stations in the countries where it is present. In fact, at the same time it is expanding the existing ones to allow users to have the best possible charging experience.
Moreover, the number of Tesla models in circulation is increasing rapidly and therefore an ever-increasing number of charging points are needed. Furthermore, Tesla is continuing to pursue its Supercharger station opening projectto electric vehicles also from other car manufacturers. Project that started in 2021 in Holland. Improving the infrastructure is therefore very important in order not to jeopardize the use of the stations given the increase in cars accessing them.
As far as Europe is concerned, during the summer the car manufacturer celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Supercharger network in the Old Continent. On that occasion, Tesla spoke of 13,000 Superchargers in 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with over a thousand active sites. Currently, over 70% of the network in Europe and the Middle East is connected to the network. officially open to all electric vehicles.
The expansion work is continuing and, now, the American company is starting to install the new V4 Superchargers which, according to it seems, they are already designed to have a small screen and a credit card reader as we saw in the United Kingdom.
Thanks to this solution, where implemented, it will be much more simple to initiate the charging process for 'non-Tesla' cars since it won't be necessary more use the American manufacturer's app. Furthermore, it will be more simple for Tesla to adapt to the different demands of the countries in which it operates.
