Aprilia presented the new RS 457 at the Misano circuit which is part of between the RS 125 and the RS 660. It is a motorcycle designed above all for young people since it can be driven with an A2 license. It will arrive in dealerships in January 2024. The company has not yet communicated the official price which, however, should be just under 7 thousand euros.

With the new twin-cylinder sports car, Aprilia is targeting completely new targets and markets, to intercept, all over the world, the growing demand for easy but fun, technologically and stylistically cutting-edge motorcycles aimed at large market segments.
The style of the new RS 457 takes up that of the other models in the RS range, starting from the double front fairing, passing through the underbelly silencer, integrated with the line of the tip, with 2 into 1 exhaust. At the front, the LED headlight features the classic luminous signature of Aprilia supersport bikes with larger displacements. The motorbike can also count on instrumentation characterized by the presence of a 5-inch color TFT screen.
Aprilia underlines that it has worked hard to contain the weight of its new RS 457. The result is a motorbike that has a dry weight of 159 kg which becomes 175 kg with a full tank of liquids. Theengine is a twin cylinderliquid-cooled front gear with double camshaft distribution and four valves per cylinder. The unit is capable of delivering 35 kW. In this way, the motorbike, as mentioned at the beginning, can can also be driven by holders of an A2 licence.
The New Aprilia RS 457 can rely on an aluminium framewhich uses the engine as a load-bearing element, as on the RS 660. Speaking of the chassis, we find a fork with 41 mm stanchions and 120 mm travel, adjustable preload. The rear mono, however, works on the steel swingarm and is adjustable preload, for a wheel travel of 130 mm.
The braking system includes a 320 mm front disc, with a radially mounted 4-piston caliper from ByBre. At the back, however, we find a 220 mm disc and ByBre caliper. Obviously it is There is a two-channel ABS system with double usage map, on both wheels or only on the front.
