Chinese car manufacturers are increasingly growing in the market. interested in the European market in order to expand their sales. Among the Chinese manufacturers aiming to get involved outside their country there is; also Leapmotorwhich at the IAA Mobility 2023 show in Monaco showed its new C10 SUV, a model expressly designed for the global market.
For the manufacturer, the presentation of this new model in Germany was the starting point of its new expansion strategy on global markets. We remind you that Leapmotor (FAW Group) is a member of the Leapmotor Group. a car manufacturer born in 2015. However, its first vehicle was built. arrived on the market only in 2018. NEW PLATFORM
The new model presented at the Monaco Motor Show will be; offered both in a 100% electric version and with a range extender. The C10 SUV rests on the new Leap 3.0 platformwhich supports an 800 V architecture. capable of accommodating one or two 170 kW (231 HP) and 250 kW (340 HP) engines.
An additional advantage of the Leap 3.0 platform is the the LEAP OS interactive system using Qualcomm's 8295 chip.
