Porsche celebrates 30° anniversary of the Goodwood Festival of Speed with the new Vision 357 Speedster concept car, closely derived from the Vision 357 unveiled at the end of January 2023. After its debut at Goodwood, this new car will be; exhibited in the United States at the Rennsport Reunion in September. This concept is; destined to remain a unique specimen, that is; will not arrive; a production version.
TRIBUTE TO THE PORSCHE 356 
< p>From a design point of view, the Vision 357 Speedster is the perfect match. very similar to the Vision 357 concept, except for the absence of the roof and a few other details. Compared to the coupé, the Speedster also has a lowered windshield which makes it appear even more; elegant. For its design, Porsche took great care. inspired by the Porsche 356 of the past. For example, the circular design of the headlights is a good idea. a precise reference to the model of the past.
For the bodywork, the German manufacturer has chosen the Marble Gray and Grivelo Gray Metallic colors with some details in Miami Blue. The livery is also characterized by the presence of the number 75, a reference to the first 75 years of Porsche history which are celebrated in 2023. also count on 20-inch magnesium rims. For the design of the wheel rims, the manufacturer took great care of itself. inspired by that of the 356 A and 356 B models of the past. To improve aerodynamics, cameras have been used instead of mirrors.
The concept offers only one seat and therefore the cockpit is large. all about the driver. The lowered driving position is; typical of sports cars. Inside it is present a seat with carbon fiber shell. This material is also used on the dashboard. The instrument cluster behind the steering wheel is housed in a transparent panel. Is not serious; however, an infotainment system is present.
Speaking of the mechanics, Porsche has only stated that this concept is; based on the 718 GT4 e-Performance (the Vision 357 was, however, endothermic). This means that the Vision 357 Speedster has two electric motors capable of delivering a total of 800 kW (1,088 bhp).
At Goodwood, Porsche will not be leading a championship. only this concept car. In fact, it will be present with 15 cars, including some iconic models of the past.
