Ferrari KC23 is the new model. the latest model created by the Progetti Speciali team of Maranello. It is an exclusive one-off designed by the Ferrari Style Center under the direction of Flavio Manzoni for a client defined as “very demanding”. This new supercar will make a name for itself. its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which will be held in 2016. from 13 to 16 July, before being exhibited at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from 1 August to 2 October.
BASED ON THE 488 GT3 EVO

The basis of the new Ferrari KC23 is; the 488 GT3 EVO which is; been profoundly revised given that the car does not have to comply with specific homologation restrictions. Designed for the track, it features particularly refined aerodynamics. Maranello recounts, in this regard, that this new supercar of his can; count on active aerodynamics and a removable rear wing. The front looks very elaborate with a large splitter. Behind, however, the large diffuser stands out. Particularity, the side air intakes are active and open only when the engine is started.
For the Ferrari KC23 it is The Gold Mercury color was chosen, a specially developed four-layer paint with an aluminum base which tends to change hue depending on the type and angle of the light that strikes it. This unique one-off features vertically opening doors, like those featured on the LaFerrari supercar. Compared to the model from which it derives, the KC23 can; also count on optical groups at the front that recall those present on the 499P. At the rear, however, we find a dynamic luminous methacrylate blade, inspired by the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo concept car.
The passenger compartment maintains the same essential structure of the racing car. The seats are upholstered in Alcantara, while the steering wheel is; very similar to the one used in endurance races. Outside there are no classic rear-view mirrors. In their place there are cameras that project the images onto some small screens placed inside the passenger compartment.
Maranello has said nothing regarding the engine and the performance of the new KC23. However, since the base is that of the 488 GT3 EVO, the engine should be a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of delivering 600 HP and 700 Nm of torque. Ferrari has not even disclosed the cost of this exclusive one-of-a-kind specimen for the track.
