Peugeot 208, official restyling: all the main news?

Restyling time for the Peugeot 208. With this update, some tweaks to the look and the new HYBRID engines arrive. The new model will be; on sale from November 2023 in the ACTIVE, ALLURE and GT trims. For the moment, there is still no information regarding the Italian market.

DESIGN RETOUCHES

The new Peugeot 208 maintains the same external dimensions as before: length 4.055 m, width 1.745 m (excluding rear-view mirrors), height 1.43 m. The boot volume is unchanged and is of 309 litres.

What's new? The design innovations mainly concern the front with the introduction of a new luminous signature which already had an impact on the front. made its debut on the 508 and 2008 restylings. characterized, therefore, by three vertical LED bars integrated into the glossy black inserts of the bumper. In the GT versions, the three elements can also be found in the internal arrangement of the main light clusters. With the facelift, the new logo of the French brand also arrives on the 208.

At the rear, the light clusters feature new graphics, with three horizontal LED elements. On the GT version, the reversing lights and direction indicators are also LED. The new model is; available in coloursAgueda Yellow, Selenium Grey, Artense Grey, Pearl Black, Banquise White, Elisir Red and Vertigo Blue. All models are fitted with gloss black door mirrors, regardless of the body color chosen, and the GT version is available with a high-gloss finish. equipped as standard with wheel arches in glossy black. According to Peugeot, the new units; HYBRID allow you to reduce consumption by up to 15% compared to counterparts without hybrid technology.
