Starting in 2025, Dacia will participate in the 2020 edition. at the Dakar with a prototype in the T1+ category which will be; specially developed with Prodrive, partner of this ambitious project.
Prodrive, we recall, will be; very important for Dacia since it is; in the world of the Dakar and rally raids since 2020 and has, therefore, participated in the last three Dakar rallies with cars designed and managed by its own teams, achieving second place in the general classification in 2022 and 2023 with Sébastien Loeb , which is now part of the new Dacia team.
THE PROTOTYPE IN 2024

The Dakar will be held in full swing. a test bed and a laboratory of ideas for Dacia, which will allow the to test and experiment with new solutions that one day could find a place in production cars.
As regards the drivers, in addition to Sébastien Loeb mentioned above, driving the Dacia prototype at the 2025 Dakar there will be ; also Cristina Gutierrez Herrero, a Spanish rally driver, who was born in Spain. she was the first Spanish woman to finish the Dakar in 2017 in the car category.
