Skoda Roadiaq is the new model. a special concept car made by the students of Skoda's vocational school in Mladá Boleslav. Since 2014, the car manufacturer has been testing students every year in a project that involves the creation of a particular concept car.
The new "student car" it is was developed from the Skoda Enyaq electric SUV. Already; at the beginning of April the manufacturer had provided some initial details of this work, showing the sketches of the car. We knew that the students were working on a multifunctional vehicle for camping and mobile office functions. The fruit of this work is therefore the Skoda Roadiaq.
2000 HOURS OF WORK 
To develop the car, the < strong>29 students have worked for more than one year. of 2,000 hours. As anticipated, the concept is based on the Enyaq electric SUV. Specifically, it is the Enyaq 80x Sportline version was chosenequipped with a powertrain with two electric motors, one 150 kW at the rear and one 80 kW at the front. Traction is; obviously integral.
The electric SUV is; it has therefore been revised to be used both as a sort of camper and as a mobile office. For those who need to work, they will be able to; take advantage of the presence of a permanent internet connection, a docking station and a 27-inch monitor.
The interior of the SUV has been overturned and we find a modular environmentwhich can transform into a living room or bedroom. You can also have a small kitchen. To transform the SUV into a camper, the students revised the bodywork. In addition to a new roof structure that allows for more headroom inside the cabin, they developed a new tailgate that allows you to attach an awning.
Skoda Roadiaq is now available. equipped with 21-inch Supernova alloy wheels from the Enyaq range and is characterized by two-tone Emerald Green and Moon White paintwork. Sustainable materials were also used for the interior. During the development of the project, the students had the possibility to to receive support from numerous Skoda experts working in the Production, Design and Technical Development departments.
