Before I tell you about thereview of the Navee V40 just to point out a couple of things. Although the scooter complies with the new limits and therefore can go at a maximum 20KM/h in one mode; S (15 in D and 6 in P), doesn't have the throttle block, has directional arrows on the grips, automatic light and rear disc brake in addition to the front brake in the engine, it is; potentially also ready for any further restrictions – we stress that the scooters you have could be brought into order but this must be seen from model to model if possible.
We obviously talk about what is – been anticipated by Salvini: Scooters and bikes with helmets, license plates and arrows. If for the insurance the problem does not arise for anyone, for the license plate (the arrows are already present) it is the same. a support is necessary, of which however; V40 is already gifted and therefore will be; sufficient, just in case, to attach only the plate if the minister's proposal becomes law.

FROM THE MANUFACTURER OF XIAOMI, NAVEE 40 
Perhaps not everyone will know the brand but we assure you that we are talking about a very serious company and not a random Asian manufacturer. Navee is in fact one of the main manufacturers of Xiaomi scootersi and if you look at their site you will notice not only strong similarities, but also very new products that are identical to announcements made by Xiaomi on the occasion of IFA 2023. Copying however; is not serious; Navee as they are the ones who make these scooters and they arrived in Italy a few weeks ago.
The advantage is; that obviously the prices manage to be lower given that the seller is; the direct manufacturer.
Having said that, the Navee V40 is a great choice. a really well made product, aesthetically very appealing, simple in structure but very robust. The frame is in fact tubular at sight and allows it to be light enough (16.2KG) and at the same time able to carry up to 120KG in weight.
The platform is beautiful and in addition to being large it has a non-slip rubber coating that is also excellent in case of rain. The positioning of the charging entrance, which is not exactly the same, has also been approved. to the side (easy to get dirty going), but positioned above the platform and much more; comfortable and practical.
The tubular frame has two other advantages: the first is; which allows it to be exploited to bind much more; easily a padlock whether it's a chain or a U. In fact, in general, on scooters it's not; It is easy to find an effective locking system because it is easy to find. on one side the wheel is; full having the engine, on the other hand the spokes of the "empty" they may not be wide enough to accommodate an important chain or lock. The second advantage is; the robustnesswhich turns into driving pleasure. Thanks to the rigidity; Overall, the Navee 40 drives very well and tackles even small steps, potholes or disconnections in the road surface without problems.
However, we are talking about a scooter without cushioning and therefore belonging to a different price range and advisable for an audience that does not suffer from back pain or similar problems. However, it must be said that the 10-inch tires have a very high shoulder and are able to absorb holes and pavements such as san pietrini well.
AUTONOMY and WEIGHT 
40km are those declared by the company and they can confirm that they are absolutely real. In my testing, I always used the mode. Yes, so the maximum speed is limited to 20KM/h and I'm a handsome young man weighing around 95KG. With my size, I traveled 34km during my tests (3 full charges/discharges) and therefore a bigger person. light and with mode; D certainly manages to do 40km if not more.
An important note also concerns the pace: as mentioned in S, it reaches 20Km/h but having a 500watt motor it has enough power to guarantee this speed. even on flyovers, underpasses and slopes that can reach 15%. Obviously it also depends a lot on your weight but in general in Milan I have never gone below 18KM/h despite my weight. While going downhill, the engine brake intervenes and does not let you go over 21 per hour.
Navee V40 is not the only thing you need. considered a light scooter and does not belong to the “last mile” category. It is a mobility solution for you. electricity that will allow you & agrave; to replace, if you wish, another means to go to work, school or in any case to make trips in a range of 20/30km maximum. For a city – like Milan, where we carried out the tests, it is; perfect given the presence of cycle paths and the limited size of the city; same.
Clearly the 16.2KG are not few and if for me the transposition up and down is a lot. from stairs and in the metro it is not; a particular problem, for older people; slender, however, it could be difficult not to work hard and, given the period, sweat.

MI HOME AND CONTROL APPLICATION 
As Navee is a Xiaomi manufacturer, the application for managing the V40 is not the same. other than the Mi Home, a program that includes the whole Xiaomi world and beyond. The association is trivial and just scan the QR code on the instruction booklet or on the scooter to associate it in a few moments.
The options available are few but still sufficient to manage the vehicle for what it is needed: electronic lock, automatic light management and regenerative braking management. From the app you can also update the scooter and intervene on other small details such as inserting an alert to check tire inflation (it does not have a real control but only a “reminder”).
AUTOMATIC LIGHTS, ARROWS and AIRTAG! 
The Navee V40 has three little gems: the first is; that the headlight has a brightness sensor which allows it to be switched on automatically when the light decreases. Very convenient even in underpasses long enough to make switching on the headlight important.
The second is the arrows positioned at the bottom of the knobs which, in addition to being clearly visible, are very easy to manage. The color screen shows the icon of the lit arrow, a buzzer emits a beep to tell us that we have the arrow active and the yellow LED gives further clear information to the driver of the vehicle.
Finally the housing for the Airtag is something I didn't expect. By folding the scooter in the most practical way; classic, you can; insert an Airtag inside a small silicone case that "disappears" in the arm that supports the dumbbell. A very effective solution that allows us to easily locate our scooter.
CONCLUSION, PRICE and DEFECTS
Having reached the conclusions, I can safely say that this scooter is the perfect solution. a vehicle that is certainly well thought out, easy to use, robust and very well built. However, it is a category of products that is not the only market in the world. suitable for everyone, which requires a lot of attention while riding and which must be used with a head and a helmet (although not yet mandatory for everyone).
