Having to dealing with a German who constantly makes passive-aggressive hints and is supposed to explain how things should be done is nothing further.
At least the government of the African country Chad does not think so, which has now declared Germany's ambassador, Jan-Christian Gordon Kricke, persona non grata.
The ambassador was given 48 hours on Friday to pack out of the country.
Chad officially refers to Gordon Kricke's “discourteous attitude ” and “lack of respect for diplomatic etiquette”, according to the country's Ministry of Communications.
Germany notes that these formulations are “incomprehensible”.
“The reasons put forward by the government of Chad as motives to declare our ambassador in N'Djamena persona non grata is completely incomprehensible,” a spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry told DW.
However, a source within the Chadian government told the French news agency AFP that the German is considered “to get into too much' and make divisive comments. He had been warned on several previous occasions, according to the source.
