Sweden has recently joined the countries supporting the European Commission in a legal battle against Hungary over a Hungarian pedophile and LGBT law that violates the EU's fundamental rights, according to the commission.
For Sweden, the process to become a NATO member has stalled in the Hungarian parliament, while Finland has been approved for entry into the alliance.
Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (M) has met his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto in Brussels but received no explanation as to why the ratification of Sweden's membership in NATO is delayed. – It is something that is very unsatisfactory and I have also pointed that out, said Billström.
