Toyota, including Lexus, currently has just three electric models on the market and sold fewer than 25,000 worldwide last year. Thanks to this acceleration on the electric vehicle, Toyota intends to be able to sell 1.5 million electric cars globally annually, by 2026.
In any case, Sato wanted to reiterate that although there will be ; a greater commitment to electric cars, hybrid models will continue to be very important to the company's strategy.
