Among the most popular Mercedes models; expected on arrival there & egrave; surely the new CLE that will be; proposed both in the Coupé version and in the Cabrio variant. This model, as we know, will go; to replace the Coupé and C-Class and E-Class Cabrios. The CLE is been the protagonist of several spy photos over the last few months and, now, a walkoARTvideos video arrives showing the CLE Cabrio in action during road tests.
The spy footage shows a car with the body still covered in foil to hide design details. However, a few things can still be observed. For example, this is not an AMG variant. In fact, it isn't; present the classic Pan-American grille that we find on the more advanced models; sports cars of the German brand. Obviously there will be AMG versions of both the convertible and the coupé. At the top of the range there will be; the new AMG CLE 63 which will be able to; count on a Plug-in powertrain, probably that of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE.
Returning to the forklift of the spy video, we can therefore take a further look at the CLE Cabrio which, at the front, seems to have some stylistic details that recall the SL. We know that the CLE will be based on the future. on the MRA-2 platform the same used on the new C-Class.
As far as the interior is concerned, we will find a layout completely similar to the one present today on the C-Class. will be the well-known MBUX system in its latest evolution, characterized by the presence of the vertical 11.9-inch touch display. Obviously, in addition to the AMG versions, the CLE will be; proposed in variants "pi` quiet”, probably equipped with some of the Mild Hybrid engines present today in the C-Class range.
At the moment, it is not available. still clear when Mercedes will bring & agrave; the new CLE makes its debut. We don't even know if the Coupé and Cabrio will arrive together or if Mercedes presents them; at different times.
