In three months, prices for condominiums have risen by 1 percent and house prices have remained stagnant. Over a 12-month period, condominium prices in the country have fallen by 11 percent, while villa prices have fallen by 13 percent.

– Housing prices have fallen by about fifteen percent from their peak, and that now makes it a little easier for sellers and buyers to meet. This, together with reduced concerns about high electricity and energy costs, contributes to a certain price increase, now also on the villa side. At the same time, the most noticeable thing in the market right now is the low turnover and that many housing consumers choose to sit still in the boat, says Johan Engström, CEO of the Real Estate Agency.

According to Engström, the situation is still very uncertain and, according to him, we should not expect the trend of price increases to continue.

– Even though there are positive signals, we still have many factors that dampen demand. Above all, the interest rate will be raised further and the increases that have already been implemented have not been felt in everyone's wallets yet, says Johan Engström in a press release.
